The commissioning of this facility is a core strategic move for DEPU CNC to focus on high-end industrial machine tools and deepen its production capacity layout in the Yangtze River Delta. It marks a new milestone in the scaled delivery and ultimate quality control of our 5-axis machining centers.
A 160 Million RMB Investment Dedicated to 5-Axis Excellence
High-end 5-axis machining centers are the "cornerstone" of precision manufacturing. With the continuous upgrades in aerospace, lightweight new energy vehicles (NEVs), and precision medical devices, the market demand for highly rigid and ultra-precise 5-axis machine tools is growing rapidly. However, the industry has long been plagued by prohibitive costs and extended lead times.
To address these challenges, DEPU CNC has invested 160 million RMB to build a 32-mu (approx. 21,300 sqm) modern smart manufacturing base in Haining. This new facility will serve as DEPU’s primary production line, fully taking on the scaled mass production of our flagship G-Series (Trunnion 5-Axis Machining Centers) and U-Series (Swivel-Head Heavy-Duty 5-Axis Machining Centers). By implementing streamlined assembly operations and maintaining strategic inventories of key components, DEPU will drastically reduce equipment delivery cycles for global customers.
To ensure that every machine maintains micron-level stability even under extreme working conditions, the assembly environment in the new plant has undergone rigorous upgrades. The base is equipped with a high-standard climate-controlled (temperature and humidity) assembly workshop, effectively preventing thermal deformation of castings and linear transmission components. Concurrently, high-precision inspection assets—such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and laser interferometers relocated from our Shenzhen R&D center—are now fully operational, ensuring the geometric accuracy and dynamic response of every machine leaving the line meets world-class standards.
